Welcome to the Points Allowed weekly post. This post helps determine which match-ups are the best to exploit by looking at how teams have defended against each offensive position to help you make the right Start/Sit.
Week 8 is upon us, and the variability is lessening, but it is still present. The yellow indicates change, and whenever it’s yellow, it means the team has either moved positively or negatively 5 spots in the rankings. As time goes on, the rankings should stabilize and the “yellow” will be reduced, which gives more confidence in these rankings. The red/green markings tend to be valid as these teams are on the extreme ends.
QB: NYJ (-7): Jets jumped 7 spots against Tom Brady of all QBs holding him without a TD in a superior defense display
RB: There were many 5′s, but the teams were all in the middle pack, and nothing particularly jumped out
WR: CLE (6): The Browns fell victim to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay wideouts in their big game on Sunday.
TE: DET (9) Detroit lost 9 spots with Tyler Eifert scoring a TD and Jermaine Gresham racking up the yards in the Bengals win.
Good Luck in Week 8!
