2 Start Pitchers – Week of 4/4
Jair Jurrjens – Simply put, he’s pegged for the Atlanta Braves home opener. Most SPs starting their home openers should be owned, just saying. He had a great season last year before it was cut short by injury. With Tim Hudson ailing, the Braves are counting on him and a bunch of potential young aces. Look for Jair to start strong, even though his spring stats were pretty bad: 5.81 ERA & 1.71 WHIP. First Week Opponent: New York Mets. % Owned: 43.3%
Jhoulys Chacin – Again, Chacin is another Ace who’s sarting the home opener vs. the SF Giants. He’s missing a few easy games vs. the Astros, but he’s owned the Giants in recent past with a 2.72 ERA; although, he’s only 3-3. As the ace of his staff, he’s probably going up against one of the pitching stars from the Giants, but he’s the missing the big three (Lincecum, Cain, and Bumgarner), and Vogelsong is injured, so he may get to face off with Zito.
First Week Opponent: SF Giants. % Owned 48.9%
