Fantasy Baseball: 2 Start Pitchers Week of 4/11

1.  Felix Hernandez (TOR, @OAK) – AL Cy Young winner looks to be dominant again, and the M’s bats should be able to hopefully squeak out 2 wins. (ERA:  2.25, WHIP: .88)

2.  Chris  Carpenter (@ARI, @LAD) – With Wainwright out for the season, a lot of success rides on the arm of Carp, and easy matchups this week. (ERA:  2.08, WHIP: .92)

3.  Justin Verlander (TEX, @OAK) – Verlander pitches well against the Rangers, and visits pitcher friendly Oakland later in the week. (ERA: 3.86, WHIP: .93)

4.  David Price (@BOS, MIN) – In one career start @ Fenway, Price has an ERA of 1.50, we’ll see if he can channel the same “stuff” this year. (ERA: 4.85, WHIP: 1.23)

5.  Dan Haren – (CLE, @CHW) – Raise your hand if you saw Cleveland leading the AL Central, and White Sox leading the league in Runs Scored. (ERA: 1.15, WHIP: .64)

1.  Michael Pineda (TOR, @OAK) – Dubbed as the “Next King Felix”, he’s worth a flyer.  An early season loss vs. the Rangers, but he pitched well. (ERA: 4.50, WHIP 1.00)

2.  Mark Buehrle (OAK, LAA) – Start him when he’s at home, bench him when he’s away.  He’s home this week.  (ERA: 7.36, WHIP: 1.73)

3.  Kyle McClellan (@ARI, @LAD) – He’s the “Jaime Garcia” of this year; pick him up before somebody else does.  (ERA: 3.00, WHIP: 1.17)

4.  Jeff Francis (@MIN, SEA) – Two strong starts to start the season despite not factoring into either decision.  This is first year outside Coors. (ERA: 1.98, WHIP: 1.10)

5.  Brian Duensing (KC, @TB) – His first start was against the Yankees, so throw those numbers out of the window, and expect a good week vs.Royals/Rays (ERA: 5.14, WHIP: 1.14)
